Terms of Service
Version 1.0 · Effective 8 September 2026
Use Kairo OS sensibly and it is yours to use. Your content stays yours; we only handle it to run the service. The service is provided as is, and you can leave and delete everything at any time.
1. This agreement
These terms are between you and VEKHAT Ltd. (Sofia, Triaditsa District, No. 255, 1404, Bulgaria), covering your use of Kairo OS at https://kairo-hq.com. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use Kairo OS.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of this agreement.
2. Your account
You need a Google account to sign in. You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for activity under your account, and for keeping access to the Google account it depends on secure — if you lose that, you may lose access to Kairo OS.
Please give accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Your content stays yours
Everything you put into Kairo OS — tasks, notes, habits, goals, lists — remains yours. We claim no ownership of it.
You grant us only the narrow permission needed to actually run the service: to store, process and display your content back to you, and to transmit it to the integrations you choose to connect. This permission exists solely to operate Kairo OS for you and ends when you delete the content or your account. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.
You are responsible for what you store, and you confirm you have the right to store it.
4. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- break the law, or infringe anyone else's rights, using Kairo OS;
- try to access another user's account or data;
- probe, scan or attack the service, or work around its security or access controls;
- place deliberate excessive load on the service, or scrape it in bulk by automated means beyond the interfaces we provide;
- upload malware, or content that is unlawful or abusive;
- resell or redistribute the service as if it were your own.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, or that put the service or other users at risk.
5. Third-party integrations
Kairo OS can connect to Google Calendar and to external AI assistants. These connections are optional, off by default, and require your authorisation.
Those services are operated by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for them, for changes they make, or for what they do with data once you have authorised the connection. You can disconnect at any time.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Kairo OS running well, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may need downtime for maintenance.
Kairo OS is under active development. If we discontinue the service altogether, we will give reasonable notice so you can export or record your data first.
7. Pricing
Kairo OS is currently free to use, and no payment details are collected. If we introduce paid plans, we will set out the price and terms clearly beforehand, and we will not start charging you for something you already have without your explicit agreement.
8. Disclaimer
Kairo OS is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows.
In particular: it is a planning tool, not a reminder system you should rely on for anything critical. Reminders only fire while the app is open in your browser, and calendar sync depends on Google. Please do not depend on Kairo OS alone for medication, medical appointments, legal deadlines or anything else where a missed notification causes real harm.
You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, lost data, or missed events arising from your use of, or inability to use, Kairo OS.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep all mandatory rights under your local consumer law, and nothing here overrides them.
10. Ending this agreement
You may stop using Kairo OS at any time, and delete your account and all its data from Settings → Delete account. That deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, or if we are required to by law. We will give notice where it is reasonable to do so.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, revising the version and effective date above. For material changes we will notify existing users before they take effect. Continuing to use Kairo OS after that means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, you can delete your account.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, where VEKHAT Ltd. is established, and disputes fall to the competent courts of Bulgaria. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
